O Deck Home

Perched on the lush hillscape of Taljai Tekdi, this wooden deck blurs the boundary between space and landscape. An immersive vantage point, it is perfect to witness blissful mornings, quiet reflections and breathtaking sunsets-embracing the site’s views and gentle breeze.
​We extended the balcony and merged it with the living area to form a large, open space. A deck was designed with wooden flooring that extended onto the walls and ceiling to form a visually-defined shape for the space.
​In the bedrooms too, subtle shifts in colour and material continued the visual separation, while distinguishing functions.
Warm textures and an earthy palette was used to harmonise with the site’s surroundings, while highlights of rosegold and copper area can be seen adding refinement and individuality to the entrance and passgae areas. Overall, this project reflects the owners’ personality, and a luxurious yet grounded lifestyle.
