An 800 sq ft contemporary home that harmoniously blends modern aesthetics with Vaastu principles.
The design language combines clean geometric patterns, soft tones, and strategic gold accents to elevate a functional layout into a luxurious, cohesive space.
​Located in an old South Bombay building with unusually high ceilings of 13ft, small windows and high-rise neighbouring buildings, the project presented unique spatial challenges. The vertical volume was balanced by visually dividing walls into two tones, maintaining proportion without disturbing the visual appeal.
Existing windows and balcony doors were enlarged for natural light and continuous airflow, creating a bright, airy atmosphere.
​Despite the compact and challenging footprint, a comfortable children’s bedroom and dining space were thoughtfully integrated in the home. From layout planning to detailing, every decision enhanced openness and flow while retaining intimacy and quiet sophistication. Another good example of contemporary design meeting Vaastu principles.
